The Drill Hall hosted all sorts of events, and reports can be found in the region’s newspapers. However, it was very rare to get photographs printed in the papers before the First World War.

This picture of the Volunteer Bazaar is the only image I have found anywhere so far which shows almost the whole front of the Drill Hall.
